She found his mannerisms slightly off, something didn't seem quite right, but she paid little mind to it. After all, nothing could ruin her mood right now. She quickly tended to his purchase and sent him on his way, another happy customer. She returned again to making sure the shop was in order as he made his exit.
Before walking out the door, she thought she'd heard him make a passing remark, but she hadn't quite heard him. "What was that sir?" She asked, turning toward the door. But there was no sign of him. She'd thought she would have seen him walking away through the window or climbing into a car at least, but he'd simply disappeared. She dismissed the thought with a shrug and went back to work. Her mind was too consumed with the thoughts of family and home and hope to worry about the short, strange interaction she'd just had with the man in the red suit and sunglasses.
