Birth of the Killjoys (Open)

[Gerard Way]

Something big was going on. Something more then vampires and demons. The falling Silence had giving way to a new treat just in it's infancy. More dangerous then before. It no longer wanted to destroy in the shadows of the city but in the light.  They were already in the government it was only a matter of time. 


Gerard Way headed deep in the desert in search of a building said to be the head quarters. There were even rumors of a silence ran city being built somewhere around here.  He had to get the names of the fallen government agents who work for the new silence. Then he could stop this before it begins.   His red hair was caught in the wind as he drove. There was something to be said for open road driving or in this case no road at all.

Eliza, or Storm as she liked to go by now was walking down the desert road. She didn't know where she was, where she was going...she didn't even know who she was anymore, all she knew is that she still missed Patrick, he was her everything. The blinding dust from the desert hazed her vision as she strained her eyes in attempt to see ahead of her

She dragged her feet at the best of her ability. She had to keep walking, to where? She didn't know but she had.to keep.walking

[Gerard Way]

Gerard thought he spotted someone walking. It was hard to see anything in this dust storm. He slammed on the breaks just beside her. "Storm? You alright? Get in." He said. He knew she was a good friend to have. They had worked together a few times, fighting side by side. "What the hell are you doing out here? Did Frank send you? Look I told him I can handle this myself."

She sighed running a hand through her now dark purple hair"No Frank didn't send me I went out on my own"She said simply with a small shrug.

Storm was what you would call a"rouge killjoy" she still fought against the silent ran city and its powers. No way in hell she would let them win, but she liked to be out on her own...even if not everyone agreed with her

"Well, you're not entirely alone." She laughed. There was no way she would allow someone she cared about this much to go out alone. Catherine was seated in the back looking over maps, attempting to figure out where exactly this 'Battery City' was located, when the car came to a screeching halt. To her surprise, a familiar face took the passenger seat beside Gerard.

"Eliza...? What are you doing out here?" She asked, more than a little perplexed at her brother's girl wandering the deserts, let alone her attire. She had no prior knowledge she was a Killjoy and in her eyes someone had some explaining to do.

"You know each other?" Gerard looked confused. "Storm here is one of the best rouges the Killjoys have." He looked back at his  girlfriend in the back seat. If looks could kill, he would be a dead man.   He had known Storm for years but she was gone so much he never told Catherine about her.  "So you girls know the mission.  Get in, get the names and get the fu*k out." He was trying not to look at Catherine.

She sighed rubbing we eyes from the dust"I didn't know you were out here Cat...it's good to see you"she said looking back at her,she really didn't wanna talk about it. She hated the entire situation that's why she does things on her own terms"Wait did you say something about going into the city?"she said squinting her eyes looking over at Gerard
