[Patrick Stump]

Patrick looked as his sister with a smile as they walked down the path of the Graceland Cemetery. He really had not been clear with her about why they were here. The moon hung low as a chill crisp autumn air blew past. Pat was dressed in his normal vampire hunting mood. Black jeans, black leather jacket and a old rock band tee he got from the record shop. And as always his trademark black fedora hat.

"Since you were thrown into this crazy world of the young bloods." Pat's voice was almost a laugh as he talked. "You need to learn how to defend yourself using what you have. Which means the inner cat inside you. You need to learn to defend yourself to what ever demon the world throws at you. And yes this has a lot to do with the dream." It was the first time he had mentioned the dream since it happened. The shared dream both him and his sister had where Pat was the demon. He still would wake up in a cold sweat. Not realizing that he had been screaming in his sleep until he would wake with Cat at his bed side. It effected him more then he let on. Maybe it was pride or maybe he knew he had to hold it together. For her and the Youngbloods.

"So think of this like a hands on training season. Pull enough Cat out to kick ass. But yet not go Psycho kitty on me, alright." Pat knew if you wanted to find something unhuman to kill Graceland was the place. This was also the same place that him, Pete,Andy and Joe would train. Sometimes it did not go as planned.

"It is not a full moon so it will not be as bad. I still don't know a lot about wereleopards but am learning."

[Kate Stump-Way]

     She hadn't quite understood exactly why they'd set out toward Graceland that night, but she gladly tagged along anyway. After the events of the nightmare, she was careful not to let her brother out of her sight. While the effects of the dream were evident on him - reaccuring nightmares and waking up in a cold sweat screaming - the effects on her had been more below the surface. She'd managed to keep up the image of her usual tough and sarcastic self, someone who could survive anything and had the scars to prove it, but in reality she couldn't have been more afraid. She found herself on edge all the time, waiting for the worst. Whatever sleep she was able to get was meaningless, but she counted her blessings for not dreaming. She hadn't had much to lose before, everything was meant so little to her before now. Now? She could bare to lose the one thing she hadn't had in years. Family. So she did her very best to keep it together, not for pride or for her own sake, but for the few things she couldn't stand to lose.

    Him even talking about the dream sent a chill down her spine. She looked down at the ground and quickened her pace as they walked, muttering "I don't want to talk about it right now Pat. Too soon, ok? Just...later." Then he mentioned pulling from the leopard within and she nearly punched him for such a thought. It was insanity, and she made certain to voice that opinion. "Are you crazy? No. Actually not just no but Hell No. Patrick for the love of God, it isn't like a battery! I can't just pull a little bit of energy at a time. For the most part it's all or nothing." She brought her hand up to rub her eyes from frustration and let out a exasperated huff. "I've never even tried to on purpose, it's all instinct or somethi-" she stopped before finishing the statement as she took note of the claws. She gazed at her own hand in awe for a moment of to before she looked up at her brother. As her anger faded the claws retracted and returned to their normal appearance. "Oh. Ummm, ok then."

[Patrick Stump]

He understood when she did not want to talk about it. He could still see her being slapped around like a rag doll by his own hands. She was faking a smile, he was too. But how long could they go on like this. He hated that she kept so much inside. He learned that it only makes things worse. He wished she would talk to him. His eyes got wide when he saw her finger nails were now more like claws.

He wanted to ask her if it hurt her fingers being like that but his thoughts were cut off. As a growl was heard in the air, "Time to try."

Two vampires one male and another female came into view. "Take a breathe and focus. you got this." Patrick swung around his gun that hung at his back like a backpack. He was ready to step in at a moments notice. "Am right here Sis." His soft voice was peaceful.

[Kate Stump-Way]

     Before she was at all prepared, two vampires were advancing on her. She understood a few things all at once. One, to run would be rather idiotic given there was no where to go. Two, her brother had her back no matter what. Three, she could rely on her instincts which were already urging her to go on auto pilot. And four, she had a switch blade in her pocket and ten tiny daggers built in. "Patrick, if this is your idea of a fun Saturday night, you and me need to have a serious talk about life." She called, keeping her eyes on the enemy targets.

     After that she moved forward, first walking, then running at the female, knife in hand. It was almost in slow motion, her instincts directing her moves. The female swung at Cat attempting to grab her, but she narrowly missed and Cat took the opportunity to strike. She leaped onto a tombstone, then over the vampiress' head, slashing her throat from behind and watching her head tumble down. The other caught her off guard in the moments when his partners body fell to the ground, catching her by the shoulder and placing her in a head lock. A moment a panic hit her as her knife fell from her hand. She fought to get free but the more she fought the stronger he held on. It felt as if he aimed to break her shoulder, chances were he probably did. Damnit...

[Patrick Stump]

A wooden bullet flew through the vampires knee cap, causing him to fall. A few feet away Patrick held the still smoking gun steady. He was ready to fire again.

He smiled as he watched her take out the female vamp. "Shit," He said as he saw her being chocked by the other vamp. He ran to take a shot. Problems was to shot the vamp without hurting his sister. The vamp had her around the neck. His only choice was to aim for the knees.

"Now Cat!" He yelled as the vampire took her down with him. He was hoping she could finish the job. But just in case he never let down his gun. He knew she could handle herself. But he just found her. And the pain would be too much if he lost her again. Maybe he was an overprotected little brother, but with the lives they lived who wouldn't be?

[Kate Stump-Way]

     She felt herself get pulled to the ground alongside the wounded bloodsucker who's grip on her had loosened slightly from his injury. He was still far to close for comfort to her throat, so she did all she could to pull away from it, elbowing him in the rib cage and breaking his nose with the back of her head. She only had a moment to get away and she didn't waste any time doing so. As he got to his feet again she slashed at his throat with her claws, the knife having been too far away. By sheer luck she'd managed to knock him back down again long enough to reach her knife. After that it's death was quick. Her heart was racing and she breath was heavy after such a fight. It took a minute for her to calm down enough for her claws to sink back into their sheaths before she began to walk back to her brother.

     She stared at him, waving an accusitory finger as she spoke. "Next time you have the bright idea of surprise training me or testing me or whatever the hell this was, don't. Okay? Give me a little more warning so maybe I can bring a better weapon than an old switch blade."

[Patrick Stump]

"You killed two vamps your first time out. I say you did well."He said with a laugh.

Pat slung his gun back behind his back. When she said she needed a better weapon he replied. "These," he said as he grabbed her hand. 'Are all you need." He looked at her hand now in his. He held her hand like a doctor would looking at it.. "Does it hurt?" He asked. A look of worry on his face. He could tell her hands were a wreak from the claws. "It's looks bad."


Then it hit him. This was the first time since the dream that his hand held her's. It was their safety net. No matter how bad the world got they would face it together. But him holding her hand brought back a lot of painful memories as well. He quickly let go of her. "Sorry."

[Kate Stump-Way]

     The tips of her fingers ached as the claws sank back deeper into their original hiding places. She'd always hated the feeling, but she'd become so used to it over the years that she was almost surprised to see Patrick's reaction as he examined the damage that had been done to her hands. Him holding her hand reassured her after the fight that she'd done well, but it also brought back the painful memory of the horrible nightmare. When he released her hand, she was let go an almost relieved sigh.  "It's ok." She said in response to his apology after a moment or two of awkward silence.

     She looked down at her hands as the irritation and redness faded, debating whether or not to actually talk about it. "I prefer not to use them. It doesn't hurt," she lied, not wanting to worry him, "it's just really annoying and their no good unless I'm in close. In a fight against something that might be stronger than me, I prefer not getting that close, ya know? Besides -" She pulled out her switch blade with a smirk, doing a few tricks like tossing it between her hands and twirling it between her fingers with ease. "- I'm better with a knife any day."

[Patrick Stump]

Pat laughed but fear took over as more growls were heard. He looked to his right and saw five vamps then to his left another five. "Cat." He said worried. He never came across this many vampires not since the night against William that landed them in jail. His eyes were wide as he moved closer to his sister. Another group was waking towards them. That made fifteen.
He backed up with out looking, taken her hand into his. There was only two of them. And he knew the vamps could smell their fear.

But he focused on the feeling of her hand in his, pushing away his fear. But in the back of his mind he knew they would not walk away from this alive or barely alive. He would make sure she would get out of here alive. He did not care if he didn't. It was his fault they were in this mess.

In one moment he let go of her hand and swung his gun around. He hoped he had fifteen wooden bullets. He fired at two back to back killing both of them as the bullets landing right in their heart, "Cat get out when you can I will cover you. Call the guys," He took out another one.

Patrick went into fight mood. He let his experience take over. But without warning he was grabbed from behind him. He quickly used the end of the stock to ram it into the head of his attacker. A large black vampire. Then he fired it in his forehead.
The vampire dropped hard. More closed in on them as he took two more shots.

[Kate Stump-Way]

Time screeched to a halt as the unthinkable happened around her. More vampires than she'd ever seen before closed in all around them. Bullets flew, hitting their mark each time, taking out vampire after vampire one by one. She could hear Patrick's words loud and clear, but she was frozen in place as all hell broke lose. Her eyes were wide with terror, put her instincts already set her actions in motion. This wasn't training, it was survival, no holding back. Lucky for her the only weapon she had was already in her hand. Her cat-like eyes darted between the figures around her and before she realized it she was moving, her knife out and claws extended to full length.

She moved swiftly between her attackers, clearing a path paved with vampire blood. Each attempted in their own way to remove her from the picture any way they could, but when they attempted to bite she broke their jaw. When they scratched her she retaliated with a rather quick amputation or decapitation. When her blade failed her, her claws carried out the job. Bullets flew by her and struck any vampires that she was unable to combat. Before she knew entirely what was happening she was outside the circle of attacking vampires, the blood of at least 5 of them dripped from her fingertips. She didn't care though, her thoughts were on her brother who was still at the epicenter of the chaos. "Patrick!" She cried, desperate to at least catch a glimpse of him as more shots rang out. She had to get at least a few of them away from her brother, so she decided to do something idiotic. She wiped her switchblade clean of the blood on her shirt to prevent infection and held it to her palm, bracing herself for whatever happened next.

"Hey bloodsuckers!" She cried out as she dragged the blade across her palm, blood beginning to flow in a slow stream. She held her hand in the air as she continued, "Who's hungry?! Come get some, fang face! I'm right here!" She continued to taunt as she backed up, getting ready to run as soon as she had enough of their attention. She understood this might not have been the wisest course of action, but if nothing else he'd get out ok. To hell with whatever happened to her, her family was the only thing that mattered to her right now.

[Patrick Stump]

Patrick was focused on taking down as many as he could with his gun. But for everyone he took down two more seemed to take their place. Where are they all coming from? One shot after another. One vamp down then another. He also kept an eye on Cat and if any vamps got an upper hand on her, he would shot them. Trying not to shot her in the process. Then repeat. It was a fast paced blur.

He had realized he had lost focus on her. She was now outside the attack circle. He was alone as what was left was closing in on him. His eues grew wide with fear as he heard her scream his name. "Cat! " For the First time fear was growing. He knew he would run out of bullets soon. Without warning his legs were knocked out from under him. And he slammed his back hard on the ground. His hat went flying off.

The wind was knocked out of him, but he was still able to turn his head to look over inbetween feet and see Cat. Then what seemed like slow motion he saw what she was doing. "No!" He screamed. He could not help it but tears were formed in his eyes. Most of the vampires took off after her. But three stayed for Patrick. He laied there until he could not see her anymore.

"Well this is the famous leader of the Young bloods. " one said. "Don't look so tough now."

Patrick reached for his gun taking him down. Just when he was going for number two, no more bullets.

[Kate Stump-Way]

     Catherine ran as soon as she was sure most would follow. It took effort to run at a pace just fast enough to keep away from them yet not too fast that they might lose interest and return for her brother, not such an easy task when everything in her told her to either outrun them or turn to fight them. Before she ran too far away, she looked back to see if she could catch a glimpse of her brother through the crowd chasing after her, but the only thing she could spot was his jet black trademark fedora on the ground. She prayed he was alright. She desperately wanted to turn back and at the very least make sure he was still breathing, but it wouldn't have done any good if she led all the ravenous bloodsuckers pursuing her right back to him. They'd both die that way. The best she could do to ensure his survival was to keep running.

     The moonlight and minimal lights were all that lit the way as she sprinted through the graveyard. Darting past each individual tombstone gradually chipped away at her will to continue playing the part of the prey, knowing that soon enough her own name engraved in rock would soon be among those that surrounded her. It took a lot to fight back such a thought and force herself to keep moving. She pulled out her phone and selected the contact she wished to call as she ran, attempting to do as Patrick had instructed and calling the others for help. The phone rang several times before someone finally answered. "Hello? It's Cat. Emergency! We're at Gracela-" But before she could finish what she was saying, due to lack of concentration on her main task, she lost her footing and tumbled to the ground. As she fell the phone was sent flying from her hand and out of reach.

[Gerard Way]

Gerard watched the whole thing from a top the roof of his mausoleum he called a home. But when he saw the women fall he stood. The night wind blew his red hair in front of his face. He hated vampires. They had no regard for life. All they cared about was blood. Human's were walking juice boxes to them. He should know, he is one of them. As much as he craves it his will power is stronger. He only drinks animal blood. It makes him weaker to vampires on human blood but he makes due.

He watched as one male vampire made his move on her. He jumped down and punched him in the face. Then staked him with a wooden stake. Quickly he moved onto the next. "Are you hurt?" He said as he right hooked a guy in the face then straight kicked him backwards, giving him some distance.  "Can you stand?" He looked down at her. A worried look on his face.

One vampire went to grab him but he put him in a headlock, twisted it and snapped his neck.

[Deleted]

Pete was walking slowly around his favorite park, near the hideout. The talk with Patrick just sent his mind into a flurry of too many thoughts, and he couldn't take just sitting there. Patrick and Cat having the same dream, and Brendon being alive. Pete's first assumption was that they were connected somehow, but now he knew they were. He remembered a time before, when he was with that asshole... There was another guy, not Brendon, but someone stronger who was a "demon" of sorts. He could control people in a bunch of crazy different ways, but for some reason the guy never did it to Pete.  It was like he thought that Pete was stronger in a way? Pete shook his head. Too many thoughts, too many thoughts.. 

"No!"

A shout pierced his hearing. He looked up. Two bodies, very alive, one surrounded by vampires; the other a little far, beginning to be chased by more vamps. But that shout.. It hit him. "Goddammit Patrick, what did you do now?!?!" He started running. He leapt through trees and raced as fast as he could towards what he now knew was Cat and Patrick.

[Patrick Stump]

Patrick was still on his back as the two vampires moved towards him until their feet were touching his legs. He scooted on his back, trying to give himself distance from the hungry two. His gun was strapped to him so he could not use it as a weapon. The vamps were too close for him to stand either. He thought he was done. Yet he was more worried for Cat. How she would react losing a brother. If she was still alive? What she did was reckless.

He was expecting pain but what he got was a familiar voice cussing at him. "Pete! Help!" He could cuss at him all day, at this point he did not care. He needed to get up so Pat and Pete could find Cat. He knew Pete would be able to smell her blood, since it was pouring from her arm. But first things first, Patrick not dying.

"We have to find Cat," He said as he punched the vampire in the face when he went to bite him.
